Home

A recognised ADHD Coach, advisor and trainer Kate Spohrer has written extensively on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Kate's life has been touched by AD/HD for almost as long as she can remember eventually leading her to write an award winning book 'Supporting Children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder' and more recently 'The Teaching Assistant's Guide to ADHD' and 'The Teaching Assistant's Guide to Emotional and Behavioural Disorders'.

For years Kate worked as a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator in a mainstream school, later moving into behaviour advisory work and taking on the special responsibility for ADHD in the authority in which she worked. Kate now provides workshops for parents, carers, school staff, young people and adults on how to get the best out of their ADHD experiences.

She also provides ADHD coaching for families and individuals affected by ADHD and Rural Therapy for ADHD adults as well as founding ADSAFE Attention Deficit School and Family Empowerment. ADSAFE is an organization that exists to help family, school, and the child and adolescent mental health services speak in a language they all can understand with a view to a better service for the child with ADHD. Kate continues to write books on ADHD and related areas.
